About Us

Avanti Jewelry, Inc. is a family-run business with a history that spans 100 years. Our grandfather and his brother migrated to the United States from Italy, bringing with them a vast array of skills in jewelry making. A tool-maker and gem stone setter, our grandfather first opened a jewelry manufacturing business called Ideal Jewelry, Inc specializing in Marcasite and Religious Jewelry. The business grew quickly; Rhode Island was known as the “Jewelry Capital of the World” and by 1880 Rhode Island’s jewelry industry accounted for more than one quarter of the nation’s jewelry production. Today there are approximately 379 jewelry manufacturers in the State of Rhode Island.

After our grandfather passed we decided to open Avanti Jewelry located in Cranston, Rhode Island. We have been at this location for 33 years. Many manufacturers have come and gone since we started our company and we are still family owned and operated.

Over the years we Avanti has established a reputation for Quality, Price, Service and Integrity. Our products are all hand made by skilled craftspeople in our facility located in Cranston, Rhode Island (Made in the USA).

Avanti is also known for creating non-religious products for companies that have a need for a stamped jewelry products from start to finish – without leaving our facility. These stamps are the hallmarks that indicate the age, metal type and origin, an important distinction when working with Avanti Jewelry, a company with over a century of excellence in jewelry manufacturing.
